Beware!!! Very Deceptive And Aggressive Property Managers!
There was very loud construction right next door if you are looking for a place where you can sleep in past 6 am and sit on the balcony and enjoy the views, this is NOT the place for you. The view was nice but we couldn’t enjoy it during daylight because of the loud banging from next door and you can’t see the views at night. Screws were falling out from the upper level decks onto the lower level decks while we were sitting outside.
The property managers offered me a discount on the nightly rate prior to booking. However, when the nightly rate that they quoted me was not reflected prior to booking, I emailed them and they replied, “the price adjustment can be made after booking. We will adjust before charging the card.” Since I had their quote in writing, I felt secure booking. However, after booking, they sent me a receipt with a lower nightly rate but added the difference as fees on the invoice so I ended up paying the same total as before the discounted nightly rate for a total of $0 discount. This was very deceptive on their part. When I asked them why they had added those fees that were not on the initial quote April with Bear Tracts said that she forgot to add those fees when she sent me the nightly rate. When I told her that I did not agree to pay those fees and it’s not my fault that she forgot to add them, her partner Matt then became very aggressive, intimidating and harassing.
